On 6 April at 2 p.m., great emotions connected with speedway sport will be waiting for us in Grudziądz. On that day, at the city stadium at 4 Hallera Street, the European Team Speedway Championship Grand Final will take place. The title will be defended by the Polish national team, which has an assured start in the tournament due to its role as host. It will meet its rivals on 30 March, when eight other teams will compete for promotion in Pardubice (Final A) and Gdańsk (Final B). The sale of tickets for the Grudziądz event has just begun. They can be purchased online at tickets.speedwayevents.pl and at ebilet.pl.
Grudziądz will host an international event of this stature for the first time. It is in the city by the Vistula River that the medals of the European Team Championships, which are being held for the third time in history, will be handed out. In both previous editions, the White-Red triumphed. In 2022, they took gold in Poznań, and a year later they proved to be the best on the track in the German city of Stralsund.
– There is still some time to make an appointment, nevertheless we will try to select an optimal line-up. One that will allow us to think seriously about defending the title. However, we have a lot of respect for our rivals and first we are waiting for the results in Pardubice and Gdańsk – says Rafał Dobrucki, the coach of the Polish National Speedway Team.
The following teams will compete in the tournaments mentioned by the coach: Denmark, the Czech Republic, Norway, Slovenia (Pardubice) and Latvia, Germany, Sweden, Ukraine (Gdańsk). The winners of Poland and the Czech Republic will advance to the Grand Final, as will the runners-up – the team with the better points tally. Poland will, of course, complete the line-up. The winner of the tournament in Grudziądz will receive a magnificent trophy.

Ticket prices
VIP – 350 PLN – included in the price: high-class catering (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, hot and cold dishes, snacks, desserts), parking space, a seat on Stand D, the competition programme, a set of gifts, the possibility to stay in the machine park up to 75 minutes before the competition starts and after the competition – when the machine park is released by the referee).
Other Sectors
Normal – 40 PLN
Concessionary – 30 PLN (children and youth aged 8-18, students under 24, pensioners)
Children up to and including 7 years of age – free entry with an adult guardian, the child sits on the guardian’s lap
On the day of the competition, starting at 11.00 a.m., tickets and programmes will also be available at the stadium ticket offices and at stationary stands around the venue. Tickets are valid in both paper and electronic versions (on a mobile device). The stadium gates will open at 12.30pm.
The organiser has also prepared a pool of free tickets for disabled fans. Those wishing to do so are asked to apply – by 29 March – at the following e-mail address: events@speedwayevents.pl, writing “ETSC Grudziądz 2024 ticket” in the subject line of the message. The condition for receiving a free ticket will be to send a copy of a document proving a severe disability. Free admission is due to both the disabled person and their carer.
